Job summary

Oaks Senior Living in Cumming, GA is seeking a part-time carepartner to provide personalized care and support to residents while upholding the facility's philosophy of person-centered living.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents' wellbeing, maintain confidentiality, and follow safety policies. A valid CPR & First Aid certification and ability to obtain 24 hours of continuing education in the first year are required, with ongoing training and teamwork with staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving for older adults preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Desire to work with older adults and maintain a friendly, caring disposition.
• Must be 18 years of age with a satisfactory criminal history check.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance to residents in line with person-centered living.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living according to preferences.
• Protect confidentiality of residents' personal and medical information.
• Follow each resident’s service plan and escalate changes to supervisors.
• Respond to resident calls promptly and support participation in activities.
• Maintain dining room, residents' rooms, and bathrooms in a clean, sanitary condition.
