Job summary

StoryPoint Group in Silvis, IL is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support residents with engaging activities at a senior living community. The role involves planning and facilitating life-enrichment programs, ensuring resident safety, and helping with everyday spaces and events.

Requires 1–3 years of related experience, compassionate demeanor toward seniors, and ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. Part-time position with rotating weekends and hours 8am–4pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holiday hours.
• Compassionate towards the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction, planning, communication, and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department.
• Supports the Life Enrichment Director and Life Enrichment Lead with administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
• Support in proper setup, clean up, and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Support transportation by attending outings, coordinating relevant administrative tasks, and upholding safety practices.
• Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook.
