Job Title: Part Time Senior Civil Engineer

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring client satisfaction, budget control, and regulatory compliance while adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
- Team Coordination: Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, both local and remote, ensuring clear communication and efficient cross-functional teamwork to meet project objectives.
- Innovative Design Solutions: Develop innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective engineering solutions, addressing complex challenges in all projects.
- Mentorship and Development: Provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering growth, skills development, and team success.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects meet industry standards, codes, environmental regulations, and comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring positive project experiences and identifying opportunities for future business.
- Budgeting and Scheduling: Oversee project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality reviews on engineering designs and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Industry Expertise: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to incorporate innovative approaches into projects.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required; registration in Georgia preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a background in land development, commercial, office, higher education, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, municipal projects, including managing multiple projects, leading design teams, managing budgets and schedules, interfacing with multi-discipline teams, mentoring staff
- Knowledge of State and Local government regulations affecting civil design and permitting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other industry-standard tools
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience with Metro Atlanta projects and relationships is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills
