Job Title: Part Time Senior Civil Engineer

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction, budget control, and compliance with regulations while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.
- Develop innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective engineering solutions for complex challenges.
- Mentor junior engineers to promote growth and skills development.
- Ensure projects meet industry standards, codes, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster positive project experiences and future business opportunities.
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct quality control reviews on designs and documentation.
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate innovative approaches into projects.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required; registration in Georgia preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with diverse experience in land development, commercial, office, higher education, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, municipal projects, including managing multiple projects, leading design teams, managing budgets and schedules, interfacing with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior staff.
- Knowledge of State and Local government regulations affecting civil design and permitting.
- Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and industry-standard tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Experience working within the Metro Atlanta area is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills.
