Job Title: Part Time Senior Civil Engineer

Work Location: Atlanta, GA

Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with the manager in the interview

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction, budget control, and compliance with regulations while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.
  • Develop innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective engineering solutions for complex challenges.
  • Mentor junior engineers to promote growth and skills development.
  • Ensure projects meet industry standards, codes, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster positive project experiences and future business opportunities.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct quality control reviews on designs and documentation.
  • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate innovative approaches into projects.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration required; registration in Georgia preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with diverse experience in land development, commercial, office, higher education, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, municipal projects, including managing multiple projects, leading design teams, managing budgets and schedules, interfacing with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior staff.
  • Knowledge of State and Local government regulations affecting civil design and permitting.
  • Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and industry-standard tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Experience working within the Metro Atlanta area is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills.
