Job summary

Community-Action-of-South-Mississippi is seeking a part-time Nutrition Aide to support the Senior Center meal program. The role involves preparing and serving meals, tracking meals served, and distributing meals as needed.

You will help keep the kitchen clean and organized throughout each shift. The position requires interaction with older adults, strong customer service, and reliable computer use; relevant food service experience and certifications are preferred and training is provided as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in large-scale food production and sanitation preferred.
• ServSafe Certification required within 90 days of start date.
• CPR Certification required within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with kitchen duties to prepare and serve meals for congregate clients.
• Monitor the number of meals served and distribute meals as needed.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness at all times.
