12 Oaks Management seeks a part-time caregiver in Denver to provide resident services. The role includes personal care, medication reminders, meals, activities, and a safe, clean environment. You will follow resident Service Plans and assist with daily living tasks while showing empathy for seniors.

The position requires teamwork, good English, and a respectful, cheerful attitude. Training and compliance with safety and infection control are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must meet in-service training requirements.
• Desire to work with seniors while upholding privacy, dignity, choice and independence.
• Ability to organize time with minimal supervision.
• Able to work well with others and as part of a team.
• Cheerful, enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more, and to stand/walk for long periods.
• Must read, write, and understand English.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to a philosophy that supports resident dignity, privacy, independence, choice and individuality.
• Reviews resident Service Plans to learn needs and preferences.
• Monitors staff logs and notes for changes in health or service needs.
• Provides personal services to residents as scheduled and described in Service Plans.
• Assists residents with medications and treatments as allowed by regulation.
• Responds promptly to emergency call system.
• Follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and provides housekeeping as needed.
• Supports social/recreational activities and encourages participation.
• Reports changes in needs, preferences, or health status per procedures.
• Responds to emergencies as trained and reports abuse to supervisors/agencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
