Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet in-service training requirements.

• Ability to organize and manage time with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and spend long periods standing/walking.
• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Experience with seniors or caregiving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident services including personal care, medication reminders, meals, and activities.
• Review resident Service Plans to understand needs and preferences.
• Assist with housekeeping and meal services as needed.
• Respond to emergency calls and follow infection control procedures.
• Encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
• Monitor changes in resident needs and report them per procedures.
• Report abuse or suspected abuse to the supervisor.
