Job summary

The Charter Township of Shelby Parks, Recreation & Maintenance Department is seeking a Part-Time Senior Bus Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for senior residents. Work 8-16 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m.

and 5:00 p.m., with duties including daily bus inspections and log maintenance. Responsibilities include reporting maintenance issues, completing incident reports, and assisting in the office as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid CDL or Chauffeur's License is required at time of application.
• Ability to pass a background check and driving record review.
• Ability to lift and assist passengers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation for senior residents.
• Inspect bus prior to daily use and report issues.
• Maintain daily logs and complete incident reports when necessary.
• Assist in the office during downtime and support transportation operations.
