Job summary

You will design programs, escort residents on trips, and maintain thorough documentation while supporting a positive, engaging community.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred associates degree and relevant experience with seniors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and facilitate structured and impromptu programs for individuals and groups in common areas and resident rooms.
• Escort residents on group trips and excursions, ensuring safety.
• Monitor residents’ needs and preferences to tailor activities accordingly.
• Prepare program supply lists and maintain supply levels; ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Collect and record information for assessments and maintain documentation (attendance, progress notes, care plans).
• Contribute to team discussions on programming, calendars, and scheduling; address resident issues.
• Participate in care and service conferences sharing information about programming involvement.
