Job summary

Osprey Management in North Franklin, CT, seeks a Self Storage Facility Manager to oversee daily operations, lease units, and deliver outstanding customer service. Qualifications

• 2-3 years of managerial experience.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Professional presentation and weekend availability.
• Ability to solve problems involving residents, personnel, finances, equipment/maintenance issues, emergencies, etc.
• General maintenance skills: plumbing, electrical, carpentry & HVAC knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and clean background.

Responsibilities

• Rent storage units to customers using effective sales strategies.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with customers.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve complaints in a courteous manner.
• Meet or exceed sales goals for insurance, merchandise, and unit rentals.
• Prepare auction units in accordance with procedures and lien laws.
• Perform opening and closing duties per company policies.
