Job summary

Northwest Regional Education Service District is seeking an Instructional Assistant for the Levi Anderson Learning Center in Beaverton. This 0.50 FTE position runs Monday through Friday, 12pm–4pm, with a pay range of $22.07–$26.39 per hour, DOE.

The role supports IEP/IFSP goals, assists licensed staff, and ensures student safety and program supervision. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and a valid driver's license; Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift students from wheelchair to floor and back, and onto changing table.
• Background Registry Clearance required for Early Learning positions/worksites.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Spanish language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instructional materials under licensed teacher guidance.
• Provide instruction to individuals and small groups as directed by licensed staff.
• Assist teachers with student assignments and grading as needed.
• Record and report student progress and incidents accurately.
• Maintain student safety and supervise behavior in various settings.
