Job summary

The University of Oklahoma’s ECEI seeks multiple part-time research associates to administer educational assessments to 8th grade participants in the SEED study. Positions involve training, traveling to middle schools in Tulsa and surrounding areas, administering assessments, scoring, and data entry.

Bachelor’s degree required; preference for child development or related fields. 3–5 days per week, 8:30 am–3:30 pm; start in early November 2026 through May 2027; travel locally; background check

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood, Psychology or related field preferred.
• Experience in research, early childhood or social service background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection. Collects various forms of data pertaining to the research project and develops expertise in assessment tools for middle school-aged children.
• Record Keeping. Maintains records, enters data, proofs and checks data entry, and distributes incentives to participants.
• Collaboration. Collaborates with researchers, staff and participates in meetings.
