Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Applicants may be subject to a drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local rules.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific screening procedures and security-related policies.
• Screen individuals and authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with access-control and screening protocols.
• Verify identification, visitor credentials, and entry authorization; direct guests to appropriate check-in or escort procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, prohibited-item concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
