Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Item Examination in Indianapolis, IN. You will protect people, packages, and operations by monitoring access and performing screening procedures while maintaining a visible presence.

Qualifications

• Experience in loss prevention or security operations is preferred.
• Strong customer service experience with professional communication.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs and perform physical screening tasks.
• Experience with x-ray screening or security scanning is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet for screening and logging.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and other items entering restricted areas.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and enforce entry control.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and incidents with proper reporting.
• Conduct patrols of screening areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
