Allied Universal in Carteret, NJ is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Entry Screening at a logistics and distribution site. You will screen personnel and visitors, maintain access-control protocols, and provide professional customer service while supporting a secure environment.

The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to earn shifts via the Claim a Shift platform. Previous security experience and a high school diploma are required, with background checks and drug screening

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal considers applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Mansioni

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site procedures and access-control protocols.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering the location according to site procedures.
• Inspect packages and items, document prohibited items and incidents via reporting channels.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
