Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for a government tourism location in Erwin, Tennessee. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide welcoming service to visitors and staff, while maintaining professional communication and teamwork to support a secure environment.

The role emphasizes flexible weekend scheduling, training opportunities, and a path to growth within a leading security company. A high school diploma and background check are required; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and guests at a government tourism location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, providing directions and assistance while helping maintain orderly operations at the location.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
