Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Status Review in New York, NY. This role offers flexible fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, designed to help you earn more while gaining experience at a leading security provider.

The position pays $21.20–$22.20 per hour, with a day-time schedule on Fridays, and a commitment to a designated site for six months.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include being at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Background check required by law
• Drug screening required where permitted by law
• Licensing may be required at state/local level
• Driver's license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors and families
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and in accordance with school protocols
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, and grounds
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity
• Communicate professionally with school personnel and site leadership
