Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer – Perimeter Driver in El Paso, TX. You will provide unarmed security, patrol the perimeter, monitor access points, and deliver excellent customer service at a retail location.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, HS diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a fixed schedule with the Claim a Shift platform to select shifts. Training provided.

Qualifications

• One year security-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and associates at a retail location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and associate activity for potential policy violations, suspicious behavior, or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site procedures.
• Support a welcoming retail environment by providing directions, assisting with non-emergency inquiries, and maintaining professional communication with store personnel and visitors.
