As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support operations through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.42 / Hour

Weekly Pay

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at utility locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Observe and report facility conditions, including unsecured access points, damaged fencing, lighting concerns, and/or other hazards, to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
