Job summary

Allied Universal® in Detroit, MI is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Alarm Response to provide reliable, flexible hours at an assigned site. This role offers a path to build experience in security while earning supplemental income.

You will perform customer service, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and conduct patrols across production areas and warehouses. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma, with training and growth

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and follow security procedures at the site.
• Respond to incidents and alarms per procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of production areas and warehouses.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity.
• Prepare daily activity reports and shift communications.
