Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for a patrol role in Rolling Meadows, IL. The position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and a high school diploma, with a part-time schedule and a pay rate of $23.32 per hour.

The role focuses on patrolling, access control, and providing superior customer service to personnel and visitors at aerospace/defense sites. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to alarms or emergencies

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at aerospace/defense locations by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Regularly patrol assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and documenting entries and deliveries in line with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Complete activity reports and logs following Allied Universal and site requirements.
