Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer with an active DoD Secret Clearance for an Unarmed Patrol at an aerospace/defense site in Herndon, VA. The schedule includes Daytime and weekend shifts with a pay rate of 24.37 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeter areas.
• Monitor entry/exit activity, verify credentials and visitor authorization.
• Respond to incidents and alarms and notify appropriate responders.
• Document observations and incidents per procedures.
