Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Bohemia, NY. This flexible, dependable role supports on-site protection at a manufacturing/industrial site with fixed shifts and optional extra shifts to boost earnings.

You’ll monitor access, respond to incidents, prepare reports, and uphold site policies while maintaining customer service for employees, visitors, and vendors. Pay rate is $19.07 per hour, with day shifts from 06:00 to 14:00.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security‑related observations.
