Job summary

Allied Universal in Milford, DE is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Patrol Reporting to protect government facilities and other client sites. You will provide professional customer service, maintain a visible security presence, and respond calmly to incidents while following established procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation in accordance with laws will be conducted.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements as per state/local regulations; valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries in a calm, professional manner following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Report suspicious activity or facility concerns to Allied Universal supervision.
