Job summary

Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Risk Reduction Patrol to provide reliable security coverage with flexible scheduling. You will work at a designated site, combining customer service with preventive patrols to deter incidents and protect people and property.

This role offers anchor shifts, the opportunity to pick up additional hours through our scheduling platform, and a path to full-time work.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency protocols.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
