Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for TWIC document screening in Norfolk, VA. You will screen passengers and belongings, monitor access points, and maintain a secure, welcoming environment for guests and crew.

Requires at least 1 year in security, a TSA-issued TWIC, and basic computer use. Training provided; background check and drug screening are part of employment. Flexible weekend availability preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• TSA-issued TWIC required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply locally.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to passengers, crew, visitors, and/or clients by carrying out screening procedures and policies.
• Screen passengers and belongings in accordance with access-control procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections for items needing review.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct patrols of terminal, embarkation, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized access.
