Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for a temporary part-time role at our Rockford area site.

The officer will guard people, property, and assets by patrolling, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies in a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes safety, discretion, and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must be able to stay calm under pressure and remain vigilant.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and escalation.
• Strong observational skills and quick decision-making required.
• All candidates must pass pre-employment screening (drug test and background).

Security Officer — Temporary Part Time

Site Location: Rockfort, IL

Wage: $25.00/HR

Schedule: 1st shift

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
