Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in De Soto, KS to monitor and protect clients across tech/media/telecom facilities. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide customer service to staff and visitors while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role offers flexible part-time schedules, with pay at $22.28 per hour. Candidates must meet minimum security requirements, pass a background check and drug screen, and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check per federal/state/local laws; drug screen as required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws; driver’s license for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors at a tech/telecom site by following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of interior/exterior areas and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor entries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly; document observations and notify appropriate contacts.
• Complete accurate activity reports and maintain professional shift communications.
