Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government location.
• Screen individuals and belongings using screening equipment and procedures, reporting prohibited items or irregularities.
• Verify access credentials, direct visitors according to entry requirements, and maintain screening records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of public areas and entry points to deter unauthorized activity.
