Job summary

Allied Universal in Dorchester, MA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Patrol Readiness) to provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility personnel, and to conduct regular patrols of facilities, monitor access, and respond to incidents with calm, professional conduct.

The position offers a flexible schedule via the Claim a Shift platform, with hourly pay of $21.88, and requires meeting minimum requirements including a high school diploma and background/drug

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and support a controlled environment.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support compliance with site access, restricted-area, and emergency procedures while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
