Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Hazard Observation in Kansas City, MO for a part-time role with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. The position involves unarmed patrols, customer service, and enforcing site-specific security procedures.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, monitoring access, and maintaining a professional environment for tenants and visitors. Prior guard licensing is preferred; background checks and a drug screen may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document incidents, observations, and maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming and professional environment.
