Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Seattle, WA to provide security services at rail facilities. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond professionally to incidents, while delivering exceptional customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to site policies, with a pay rate of $24.74 per hour and flexible daytime schedules. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, offices, and perimeter areas to report hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and service disruptions following site protocols and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
