Allied Universal in Salisbury, MD is hiring a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver. This position offers flexible, reliable hours at a designated site with the potential to increase earnings by taking additional shifts.

The role focuses on customer service, patrols, access control, and incident response while upholding site policies. You must meet minimum requirements and be prepared for background checks and drug screening as part of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen to be completed prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food and beverage production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and vendor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs.
