Job summary

Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a part-time Security Officer to patrol and safeguard a financial institution. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors, maintain a visible security presence, and follow site policies to deter incidents.

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you’ll monitor access points, respond to alarms and incidents, and document activities in reports while upholding Allied Universal’s culture of teamwork and integrity.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking operations areas, office spaces, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and help deter unauthorized entry.
• Document daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
