Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in New York, NY. The role offers flexible, reliable hours with the option to pick-up additional shifts and earn more through the scheduling platform. Pay rate is $24.77 per hour.

Minimum requirements include a NYS Security Guard License, at least 1 year of security experience, and a high school diploma. CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the banking location, including exterior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Support a professional environment by reporting maintenance, security-related, and customer service concerns to site leadership or Allied Universal management.
