Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience preferred
• Possession of a guard card/license preferred
• Access control/badge experience preferred
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check required by law
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures and site-specific policies
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs
• Screen and direct visitors, vendors, and deliveries according to facility procedures to maintain orderly access
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and notify site contacts and leadership as required
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and exterior access points to deter unauthorized activity
