Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Screening in Vance, AL. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings, while maintaining part-time hours and potential progression toward a full-time schedule.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer/tablet skills, and comfort with access-control procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, 18+ for unarmed roles; background check per law.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing or corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, vehicles, deliveries, and materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with established access-control and inspection procedures.
• Verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas while reporting unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
