Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Crest Hill, IL. The role focuses on protecting clients across various sectors while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a visible security presence.

You will work at a temperature-controlled logistics site, perform patrols and respond to incidents as needed. Eligible candidates should be at least 18 (21 for armed roles) with a high school diploma or equivalent, pass a background check and drug screen, and hold a valid

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
