Job summary

Allied Universal, Whitsett, NC, is seeking a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer (Unarmed) to provide dependable site presence, customer service, and safety. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional hours through our scheduling platform, delivering steady income and real-world experience at a technology-focused site.

Pay is $16.89 per hour with daytime Saturday shifts (08:00 AM – 04:00 PM).

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Basic computer or tablet use preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to drug screening where permitted by law.
Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by following site procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, service requests, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
Complete incident reports and patrol logs accurately while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced environment.
