Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Credential Verification in Philadelphia, PA. This position offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

The role emphasizes customer service, incident response, and regular patrols to deter unauthorized activity, with a potential path to full-time hours up to 40 per week.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and professional interaction with campus community.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, campus concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; communicate observations and relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, grounds, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and promptly.
