Job summary

Allied Universal seeks a part-time Enhanced Security Officer in Whitsett, NC. The role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with the potential to pick up extra shifts for higher earnings.

Pay rate is $15.24 per hour. Fixed anchor shifts for six months, plus option to claim additional shifts through our scheduling platform, provide flexibility and growth toward full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery authorizations, and control entry and exit for personnel, visitors, and vehicles at a logistics and distribution location.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle logs, issue access credentials as directed, and report access-control irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and security-related concerns.
