Job summary

Allied Universal in Washington, DC is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Service Patrol to provide reliable, site-specific security and customer service at a retail and commercial location.

Pay rate is $24.44 per hour with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform. The role requires a high school diploma, background check, drug screen, and state licensing as applicable.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and customers by carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot/vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas to identify potential security concerns.
• Respond to incidents and document observations per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and maintain professional presence during shifts.
• Complete detailed activity and incident reports and communicate with leadership and site contacts.
