Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Wallingford, CT. The role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and a program to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. Pay rate is $19.00 per hour, with a path to build hours up to 40 per week.

Responsibilities include access control, monitoring entry points, responding to incidents, and maintaining site security protocols in a manufacturing/industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Provides customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitors access points, verifies credentials and visitor authorization, maintains visitor records.
• Controls entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries, reporting unauthorized access attempts.

Responsibilities

• Responds to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conducts regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
