Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider applicants with criminal histories where allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
