Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Threat Assessment in Union City, CA. The role offers reliable, fixed hours with the option to pick up additional shifts through our platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $19.50 per hour, with a six-month anchor shift commitment. The position emphasizes customer service, incident response, and on-site patrols across retail spaces, with a path toward full-time roles and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as required by law.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories where allowed by law.
• Subject to a drug screening where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail areas, common spaces, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity as required by site rules.
• Document observations and patrol activities with required reports and communicate information to site leadership.
