Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals entering the healthcare location in accordance with established access, visitor management, and health screening protocols.
• Verify visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor credentials as applicable, and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
