Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Hazard Identification Patrol in Shepherdsville, KY. This role offers reliable hours at a designated site with the potential to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, helping you earn more while you gain hands-on experience in a trusted security team.

Pay rate is $17.63 per hour. Responsibilities include unarmed patrols, access control, incident response, and accurate reporting, with a six-month anchor shift

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, loading zones, common spaces, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and vendor authorization according to site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
