Allied Universal in New York, NY is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Risk Recognition to provide reliable security coverage at a designated site. The role offers flexible hours with anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
State/local licensing as applicable.
Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and the public at a government environmental services location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, entry points, perimeter areas, and restricted locations.
Monitor access by checking IDs, verifying authorization, directing visitors, and maintaining access records.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify responders as needed.
Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities for supervisors.
