Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Property Checks in Macedonia, OH. This role offers flexible, reliable hours at a designated site with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $17.50 per hour with a fixed shift commitment and the option to scale to more hours via the Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift program. This position is ideal for individuals seeking part‑time work with potential progression to full‑time.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel while carrying out security‑related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site‑specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and maintaining a professional presence at assigned locations.

Responsibilities

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
