Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Kettering, OH to provide access-control, patrols, and incident response at commercial real estate locations. The role features fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles
• 21+ years of age for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws
• Subject to drug screen where permitted by law
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations
• Monitor and manage access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate property contacts
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observed conditions accurately, and report security-related concerns according to site-specific procedures
